Ploiesti Old City is an app developed by Ro2D2 robotics team, as part of an educational project aimed at promoting the architectural values of the community. The app displays 18 historical buildings, built by the architect Toma T. Socolescu, which are architectural monuments, part of the national architectural heritage. With this app we aim at encouraging the pride of the members of the local community for the historical values, but at the same time the app is seen as a potential tool for orientation of tourists visiting the city.
